Ms. Veena Mankar
Ms. Veena Mankar has over 35 years of work experience in commercial banking and development, having started her career with the erstwhile finance institution, ICICI Ltd. (now ICICI Bank Ltd.). She has served as an independent consultant to international banks and was the India country representative of WestLB Group, a European commercial bank. In addition, Ms. Mankar was the founding Managing Director of a Non-Banking Finance Company offering factoring, Global Trade Finance, which established itself as India’s largest independent factoring company in just three years, under her leadership. Ms. Mankar is currently the Chairperson of Swadhaar FinServe Pvt. Ltd. (SFPL) an urban microfinance institution.

Ms. Mankar is an alumnus of Lady Shriram College, New Delhi and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Late Ms.Haseena Vahanvaty
Haseena Vahanvaty, co-promoter of Swadhaar FinAccess, was a development professional with over 30 years of experience, including 13 years with “The Hunger Project”, an international organisation committed to sustainable end of world hunger. Through her work, she had travelled extensively across several Indian states, spending time in villages in order to reach her project initiatives. An important constituent of the project was training to empower women elected to the local Panchayats. Her last position was General Manager for the Indian operation. She was also associated with the Society for the Education of the Crippled (Child & Adult) [SEC].
